Grandpa's retirement

My Dad retired this past week from working for 24 years in government service/ATK.
The coolest thing he did was worked on 6 rockets....so yes he is a rocket scientist and he's incredibly smart.
He's the one the kids call when they need help with math, chemistry, etc...and he certainly bailed me out of
many calculus tests when I was at BYU.

This picture shows all of the rockets he worked on as a rocket engineer:

Trident D-5, Poseidon,Titan 4, Delta, Minute Man and the Shuttle Discovery!

My mom had a surprise party for him last night.  We all showed up and sneaked into the house while he was downstairs.  My mom called him up for dinner and we all jumped out to surprise him - and he was!
