My favorite part was going to church in spanish and meeting all of the people that Jordan was able to teach and spend his mission with.
(In relief Society they asked me to say the closing prayer, a very humbling, spiritual experience)
It was such a wonderful experience that I will never forget! I felt like I was on a mission for a day.
We were very well fed!
Hermana (Emma) Benitez
Familia Perez
Familia Favela
Eduardo
Next Morning we had a stop for Lunch in Kemah at T-Bone Toms (made famous by Diners, Drive-Inns and Dives)
They MADE me ride the Bullet (it was the fastest, scariest roller coaster I've ever been on!!)
Next a drive to Galveston and a stop at the Beach
Jordan had lived on the island almost 6 months and could not go to the beach
It was so great to have some sunshine
Dinner was for Queens BBQ and Apple cobbler
We drove back to Houston that night
The Next morning we made a trip to the Galleria for lunch and then drove up to the Beautiful Houston Temple
A Christmas Scene on an 80 degree December Day
I love the Blue/Copper Spire!
A wonderful memory we will always treasure!
