Julian and Joe

Joe's brother Julian returned home from his mission this week.  He served faithfully in the Palmyra, New York Mission.

Julian is such an amazing kid!  We have known him since he was young.  His wonderful mother adopted him from an orphanage in Romania.

He was born without arms - yet he can do everything!  So inspiring

Joe is happy to have his brother back home

O what do you do in the summertime?

Sometimes it's easiest to put a bunch of memories into one post.  Here are some fun summer memories

Do you drink lemonade?

Year Round School ...means getting out and starting in the summer....crazy

Or March in Parades

Tyler was able to "tend" Joe while Laurie went out of town.  He stayed there at night with him.  We enjoyed having him come for Sunday dinner.

A hi-light of Chris' summer...car shopping for Jordan

Jordan tree - climbing  ...aka trying to get Tyler's shoe out of the tree, which we never could

Chris and I were invited to a sealing in the Manti Temple.  The sealing was wonderful and after we decided  to stay and do an endowment session.  The session was one of the most spiritual temple sessions I have ever been on.  We will always remember this special day

Is that what you do?   So do I

Meet Joe

We've known Joe for over 12 years now.  The kids have all worked with him at church.  Ben took him frequently to special needs mutual and to the gym.   Now we are really lucky because Tyler has a new job.  He is working with Joe several times a week and getting great experience and paid by the State of Utah.

Joe is always happy and we love him tons!
