FHE at Brighton

We love to go to Brighton.  We missed going up for Jenessa's birthday, since that was the day Jordan came home.   So, we decided to drive up to "our spot" for a Family Home Evening Picnic.

We went hiking after dinner and walked around Brighton Girls Camp.  I loved Brighton when I went their a long long time ago as a young woman camper.

We had a little FHE lesson in a grove of trees.  Jordan gave Joseph Smith's account of the first vision in Spanish.  That was neat to hear him speak his mission language.

We are so happy to have Jordan back home with us

Jordan wanted us to taste authentic mexican food.  I took him shopping for all of the ingredients and he cooked us a yummy dinner

The corn elote is slathered in mayo and then as much hot sauce as you like and sprinkled with parmesean cheese

Believe us it's super yummy

Return Home and Jenessa's Birthday

Jordan returned home on Jenessa's  I5 birthday so we didnt' want to leave her out of the importance of the day

I think she was pretty happy to share her day with Jordan

Happy Birthday and Welcome Home

Homecoming

My heart is pounding with excitement....Jordan is flying home and will be arriving in Salt Lake City at 4:20 p.m.
It's been a rush around here to get everything ready and now it's almost done

My son has spent his Best 2 Years serving the Lord and the Spanish speaking people of Houston, Texas.   Tears are falling as I think of how wonderful an experience this has been.
A mission changes you.  He has grown and spiritually matured and I haven't even seen him yet to see it, but in my heart I know it.

I know he will be eternally blessed for this missionary service.  He has been called to Serve and he has served so faithfully.

I love Jordan with all of my heart and in exactly 2 hours I will be throwing my arms around him!!
It's still to amazing to believe...

Now I'll let the pictures tell the story.....

Having a Missionary Return is the best thing in the world

Well Done
