Ben's Mission update

Ben is such a great missionary.  He is really enjoying serving the people in Portugal.  I've already seen the growth in him and his testimony grow stronger

We The People

I teach a constitution lesson each week in Kaitlyn's 5th grade class.  It's called We The People

This week I had some of the kids dress up like our Founding Fathers and had interview questions

It was a lot of fun and I love to teach love for America

 

As a side note - the Election has my complete attention this year

 

I am praying that Mitt Romney becomes our next President of the United States

 

and return our country to constitutional principles

 

 

 

 

 

 

Board and Batten

I love the look of Board and Batten and so I am trying all by myself to put some up on my living room wall.  I am no handyman so It's kinda just sitting there waiting for some help--    hint hubby

Here's how it's going so far.  I hope to post an AFTER picture soon

I also painted a wall in my dining room blue and I'm loving it   so my next decision is whether or not to paint this wall above the board and batten blue too.....I can't decide if it will be too much

Fun Run Winners and Cross Country

OK I don't mean to brag but my kids were some pretty awesome runners this week

The school fun run was on Friday...

Kaitlyn came in First Place for girls in her grade...she has trained hard all summer and her teacher, has them run a mile each day and it really paid off

Then it was the third graders
Brycen was first place again for the second year in a row

It flipped off his foot as he was running and he reached out, caught it, kept running and won....amazing

Jenessa is also running cross country this year and she came in first for all the girls in a 5K run.  Way to go
